Revoada no Jardim Botânico - Rio de Janeiro - RJ

O arboreto do Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro é entremeado com árvores frutíferas de diferentes tipos o que, associado ao ambiente seguro e a abundância de água, criam as condições perfeitas para o avistamento de aves – entre elas tucanos, garças, sabiás, viuvinhas, tiês, beija-flores e até urubus!

Em 2012 a obra Aves do Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro – Guia de Campo, já trazia o registro de 152 espécies diferentes que habitam ou simplesmente passam pelo Jardim Botânico nos períodos migratórios. O guia é um excelente apoio para estudiosos e entusiastas, mas não representa um estudo definitivo sobre o tema.

A melhor hora para apreciar a passarada é no final da tarde e um bom posto de observação é um belo recanto localizado, certamente não por acaso, próximo a imensa estátua do Orixá Ossanha.

Birds of the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro

The arboretum of Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro is interspersed with fruit trees of different kinds which, associated with the safe environment and the abundance of water, creating the perfect conditions for the sighting of birds - including toucans, herons, mockingbirds, brown noddies, Ties , hummingbirds and even vultures!

In 2012 the work Birds of the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro - Field Guide, already had the record of 152 different species that inhabit or simply pass through the Botanical Garden in migration periods. The guide is an excellent support for researchers and enthusiasts, but does not represent a definitive study on the subject.

The best time to enjoy the birds is at late afternoon and a good observation post is a beautiful spot located, certainly not by accident, near the huge statue of the Orisha Ossanha.
